First Grade Birthdays
Birthdays are very special days. However, we do have guidelines regarding food. Please do NOT send in any food products as birthday treats. A sticker, pencil, eraser, bubbles, etc. are good alternatives.
Parents are also welcome to donate a birthday book to the classroom in place of treats. Your child will receive a bookplate to place inside the cover, which will indicate the book was given to the class to celebrate his/her birthday.
Children with summer birthdays are often disappointed because they cannot celebrate their birthday at school. To avoid this, they can share their half birthdays. This date has more meaning then simply waiting until the end of the school year to honor all of the summer birthdays.
We have 27 students in room 204
